i love to read, but never have the time. a friend of mine just introduced me to dailylit.com. the premise is simple. you go to the site, pick a book you want to read, enter you email address, and click subscribe. you then receive five minute installments from your book of choice emailed to you daily. i highly recommend it. i am currently reading the adventures of sherlock holmes. i receive an email at 8am on weekdays. i read it when i get into the office and then start my day. its perfect.

i think having a beautiful (and comfy) bed is really important, given that you spend seven (hopefully eight) hours a day in your bed and it is the centerpiece of your bedroom (or at least it is in mine, since I'm in a studio). i am constantly looking for new sheets, duvets and pillows. these bed linens from leontine linens are gorge.

wish i didn't spend $1,000,000 a month on rent...
